In August of 2024, I had the opportunity to pitch an idea to the bank UBS. They were looking for bold, visual ways to discuss their latest investment software, which presents a challenge. Mainly, you can’t point a camera at software.
Luckily, I was familiar with a concept called cymatics, or the visualization of invisible patterns occurring all around us. Fast forward a month and I’m in London, directing what was simultaneously a commercial, music video, and science experiment all rolled into one film. This was truly one of the most invigorating creative experiences I’ve had in my career. Not only was I able to see my vision through to completion, I also collaborated with an incredible crew of international artists and creative technologists. What we made is bold, dynamic, and spectacular. It went on to win multiple Telly Awards for branded content to launch or elevate the image of a financial institution and it’s use of music.
The VO artist was pretty good too.

After the huge success of our first round with Market Rhythms, UBS was eager to have us continue the program. We knew we had to evolve the idea, so we took it from a physical space into a digital one.
Partnering with the artist duo AMIANGELIKA and 1100, we paired them with an algorithmic developer from UBS to create audiovisual representations of the most noteworthy and voloatile market moments in recent history. By doing this, we proved that no matter how unpredictable the market may be, there are always patterns and rhythms at the edge of chaos. The result has been played at financial conferences around the world. It’s recent debut is one of the my most exciting moments of 2025, as it is the culmination of a LOT of hard work, development and high level execution. I’m thrilled with the final project, which prompted UBS to proclaim my team as a brand partner for 2025-26.
